Whenever I restart my laptop (that's running on Windows 10), my Tor browser gets uninstalled. The icon is still there but all of my files are missing. Why does this keep happening?

Is this a corporate machine? Perhaps there's something happening during the logoff or subsequent logon process or via some other security control that is cleaning the system every time. You might talk to your IT folks and see what they say. Of course, they're not going to want you to have that browser on there in the first place. :)

Suspecting virus related activities might there. As you did not mention is anti virus installed there, however first of all scan/ clean your system and make sure this is not happened due to virus. Also you can run the system in safe mode with networking and open the browser and see if that happens again.

same issue, personal PC, AVAST installed. I reinstalled TOR and 3 days later gone. This happened 3 times, so I'm doing research who/what is doing this...

@sadarahu, are you sure there is no leftover files of the TOR? Was the uninstall process completed successfully? Is there other user account on the system?

Some anti virus program may flag TOR as a PUP or possible harmful app and remove it. Upon restarting your computer , are you sure there are no ongoing uploads/downloads going on in the TOR client?
