Is there anyway to modify time stamps on a website? For example transaction times on NFL.com.

If you are talking about what is showing in the browser , the answer is no. This timestamp is coming from the server the site is being hosted on. If you have the rights to that server you can adjust the time if needed. If you are looking for a different date format, that would have to come from the designer of the website. If things were changeable by every user then we would lose all auditing and tracing abilities.

    No, not possible. If you are an administrator if this website then it is possible. Why did you ask or change the timestamp?

    It can depend on what you mean by "modify", "time stamps", "websites" and "transactions". For example, with sufficient authority and technology, you might remove current evidence of a transaction and generate a duplicate one with a different timestamp. With even higher technology and probably higher authority, you might make direct changes to bytes within the storage medium.

    But it generally requires at least an administrator's level of authority and some pretty detailed knowledge of the site's applications, DBMS and OS.
