I am chasing a simple CL program to check if the currently loaded tape has the data as *expired so it can be written to under BRMS. It shouldn't be that hard but I've searched for literally days and can't find anyone to help.
I'm trying to read several files from an external disk (NTFS system) so I tried scanning it for bad blocks. After it was completed, I noticed that it had a ton of bad blocks. Is there a way to repair all these? Does it matter if they are physical or logical?
