I want to delete journal receivers in a library that have the the status of SAVED. Can anyone offer some CL code to do this in a program? Each receiver begins with AMQA and followed by 6 numerics. I guess I would write out to an outfile then read the outfile to delete the receivers.

We need to update some i5 files (under v6r1) from SQL in a .NET environment. Can I control this process via SQL or will I need to call CL commands from .NET to start/stop journaling & commitment control?

Receiver is detached and saved. Cannot delete. Error code CPF7024 tells me fo force the changes to auxiliary storage before deletion. I don't have a clue. I don't see any problem with the setup. Had to get an exclusive lock on the objects in order to stop journalling and delete the...

I am trying to figure out how to audit user access at the record level. In the Audit Journal the entry types ZC and ZR tell me at the file level who has opened a file for Change or Read. In the Journal, the Journal code of R along with the type code will give me information on who has added,...

Hi, I have a journal entry of type IZ and I was wondering what causes this to be generated? The documentation says it is from an INZPFM command but the program specified on the journal entry does not execute this command.
