Is there any error message? You can find spooled file in either the basic operations > printer output/basic operations > printers container within system i navigator, then using drag/drop method or the manual copy method to copy the spooled file. Hi Subhendu Sen.

    Thanks

Yes, only one user having problem to prompt the basic operations tool in I navigator.

    Came out this pop msg.

"You requested to change the current connection properties. All currently running applications must be closed and restarted to use the changed connection setting"

Navigator can be tricky. You need to be logged in as the same profile that created it. Also they must be authorized to that function.

It's not necessary to be logged in as the same user, though special authority is required.

@ravisub: The error message seems unrelated to the spooled file problem. It could be because of attempting to change the configured user ID, and that could relate to ToddN2000's comment.

But it's not at all clear.

After restart, does the problem continue?

@TheRealRaven: I'll have to talk to our network people on that. They must not have something set up properly. If we currently log into Operations Navigator and go to basic operations > printer output we can only see spooled data for that user..
