Style of Microsoft Word documents

For my job, I have a few hundred Microsoft Word documents. I need to figure out the style that's used on all of them. How can I do that? Would OpenXML work?

    In Word 2007, click edit style/ press shift + alt + ctrl + s and at the bottom it shows radio buttons which look like that only in this document/ new documents based on this template

    Select second option, and click OK. Make ensure that either working from the correct template/ customised template. The change will be made appropriately. This can be varies version to version.
