From a SOX perspective, what's the difference between these two commands? Do both commands give a user the ability to delete/update data within AS/400?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Both commands are capable of editing data in a file. Of course permissions to the file you intend to edit is required otherwise you would just be viewing the data.

If it's an interview question, it's a good one. It's a 'trick' question if asked in that way.

Yes, well aren't they all. And most have become trickier as time passes and new technology takes what was a simple answer and makes it really complex.

Really? Are interview questions getting this crazy? Why not ask us what the difference is between RPGLE and COBOL and justify their use?

Nearly everything we've gotten has been interview questions.

This one has a simple answer.
