I am creating a local search engine, in which I need a big data storage capability. So can I store my complete data on AWS? But at the same time, I don't want to share my data with AWS. I want to keep private to my client data.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Do you plan on encrypting your data? Putting you data on AWS would require you to their terms of use.I have not looked at that recently but I don’t think they share data like the social media sites. If they did they would lose a lot of business if their data was shared and probably face a few lawsuits as well.

I would definitely read their terms and conditions. At some point, you might have to use the cloud for your sensitive information. It just depends on risk tolerance, business needs, and so on.
