I just noticed that my Windows 10 console keeps restarting after I shut it down. Isn't this odd? What's the best way to stop this?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It may be possible that it was installing updates. Sometime that requires a restart. I have had some that restarted my system a few times. Apply some patches, restart, apply the next batch because of pre requisites and restart again…. Did you get any message when shutting down that updates needed to be applied ?

Check whether disable fast startup in power options set correctly. You can check by opening control panel, click icons view. Again click on power options. Now click on choose what the power buttons do in the left pane. Also check either any unwanted app(s) is installed on computer specially on/off tool, if yes. uninstall it.
