Whenever I open up Excel for Mac, I keep getting this message: Excel saved changes to the file before the application quit unexpectedly. And it forces me to go to the last saved version (even though my last session ended fine without any problems). So I've come to the conclusion that Excel thinks my files are corrupt and saves me last version. How can I figure this out? Thanks so much.
Open Excel, go to Microsoft Menu > Preferences > Save. Here you can get a multiple checkboxes, click or select 'Save AutoRecover information after this number of minutes'. (depends on versions). Also check Time Machine preferences, where auto save function in the version of Mac OS.
