Static IP hacking over wan

Good day. I'm new to hacking and metasploit caught my attention. I researched and found that I need a static ip for my payload to work over WAN. I successfully changed my IP but i cant connect to the internet. Can someone help me? thank you

You wont find much help here on hacking methods from most of the users here. Ethical or not we do not support hacking methods. There are other sites for that. This is a respectable site.

    Changed your IP? Was there a reason you thought you'd be able to connect after doing that? Few ISPs are likely to allow it.

    When you changed the IP, are you sure you changed according to your ISP's rules? What kind of hacking do you want? Is it an illegal hacking or ethical hacking? If it is an illegal, you never get help from this forum. We are not encouraging any kind of illegal hacking/ cyber crime.

    well of course i dont have the right and ability to hack others. this is for educational purposes. i researched and saw some people have static ip without their ISPs permission

    i successfully hacked into my phone and windows laptop on the same network and my curiousity drove me to try it outside my network. i know my limits, i just want to learn for education

    For your question of whether someone can help you, the answer is "Probably yes. Contact your ISP and ask what is needed to get a static IP from them."

    Beyond that, essentially any help will be illegal. You probably don't want to be involved.
