How can I start my career in SAP?

Hi, I am currently a Service Desk Analyst, mostly from technical side. I want know how can I start my career in SAP? I have zero knowledge. How should I start to have a self study also. I read about SAP ABAP but I don't want to be in programming, SAP Basis is technically needs experience. How can I break the barriers for me to enter the SAP world.

    Your job mostly involve in technical area as you mentioned. As you wrote, you don't have knowledge, but I think you have at least minimum knowledge on IT, while you are working in IT related field. Moving to SAP is a very good idea, but before that, you want to some more to gain solid concepts on SAP-Basic. As far as my knowledge, you can do Comptia IT fundamental certification that will definitely help to move in SAP. However, it is up to you, and this just my an opinion which think betterment of your future. Here is link for comptia:

    It is requested you, before doing any cert, know everything about this course/ future prospectus and other necessary things specially of job related and career improvement. And yes, you will have some quality time to invest for your further study.
