For SQL Server, I have a database on my machine and then created a backup of my tables. I just moved my backup to a remote machine without the table. But when I tried to restore it, I keep getting this error:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: The operating system returned the error '5(Access is denied.)' while attempting 'RestoreContainer::ValidateTargetForCreation' on 'c:Program FilesMicrosoft SQL ServerMSSQL.1MSSQLDataLabTables.mdf'.
SO what should I do?

You shouldn't be able to do anything. This is a simple way to make it a little more difficult to make backups and walk off-premises with them.

But Google searches show various SQL Server recovery or repair products that you can buy. You can try different ones until one works (if any).

Searches also show various SQL Server forums. The MSDN SQL Server forum should provide some of the best available advice.

Like Raven said, it's like a data theft prevention. Prevents just what he said. A disgruntled employee makes a backup and moves it so he can use latter off site. You don't want that to happen now do you?
