    If this is used frequently and growing, why not make it a regular data base instead of a temp?

    It is recommended that create as many files as there are core/ cpu to minimize allocation bottlenecks.As you did not mention that, however you can navigate here to resolve this issue: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/307487
