    What do you mean by "input"?

    To list the names in descending order, you would do something like hits:

    SELECT product_name
    FROM products
    ORDER BY product_name DESC;

    Sounds like homework.
    Post your code and any errors you are getting.

    Carlosdl shows you how to list the data in descending order by adding the DESC to the end ORDER BY clause.

    How are you entering the data, upload or manually?

    Where did you want to write this query, Is there any front-end like java/ vb.net/ c#/ or other language. However tag indicates that, sql/ sql query, although almost all databases support almost same format/ syntax though there are some differences specially in date format like mysql/ oracle/ sql server etc. If possible, please come back with more details.
