SQL Server Management Studio only recognizes one drive on the server, how do I get it to recognize the other Local disks? The one disk it does see is also on the AX-100, but it will not list any of the others, even the interanl disk, as options for devices to create databases on or for backup desinations, etc.
Thank you,
Rick
Software/Hardware used: SQL Server 2005, EMC AX-100
Ah, yes - It is actually.. I am not used to a clustered server environment. I opened up Cluster Administrator, and under the active server drop down, and Active Resources folder I modified Disk D: so that it is now in the same group as disk S:, but I still can not see disk D as an option in SQL. The 2nd server has actually been down for a week for various different reasons.. so I can't make the same change there yet.
I believe I have it figured out. Later this weekend i'll take the SQL Server group off-line, and add the additional disk drives I would like to see to the dependencies list for the SQL Server Service, and bring it back-online. Thank you for the tip on where to look.
