Spoolfile entry object/owner

Is there a way to change the owner of a spoolfile entry? One user created the report and now a 2nd user needs to see it via Spool Explorer. neither has a full command line since we tightened security. Many years ago I would convert the spooler entry to a physical file and later convert it back to a spooler entry (for a different purpose but might work here). I'm hoping for something that will work "for sure".

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You could try and use the command CRTDUPSPLF for the second user

Try the SNDNETSPLF command.  Send it to the second user on the same server.

Getting closer ... the Send option wants a USERID (OK, got that) and an ADDRESS (same length as USERID - 8 char).

We can't even concoct a guess at ADDRESS

    Any suggestions ?

You might need to make entries in the System Directory -> Adding to the System Directory
