Spell check gets disabled when adding Microsoft Outlook signature

Whenever I use a signature in Microsoft Outlook, my spell check keeps getting disabled. How can I stop this from happening? This is for Office 365 / Outlook 2016. Any suggestions?

    Please check if there is Review on Menu bar. Highlight the signature. On the ribbon bar underneath the Language tab > Set Proofing Language. Make sure that "Do Not Check Spelling or Grammar’ box is not checked.
