Over the past couple of weeks, I've been having constant trouble with my Wi-Fi. Sometimes it's really fast, other times websites take forever to load. But here's the thing: My wife's machine and kids' tablets work perfectly fine. It's an Intel wireless router (a couple of years old). Not sure what's going on here. Is my router starting to die? Or is it something on my laptop?

Make sure the router is using a Wi-Fi channel that is unoccupied by nearby routers from your neighbors. You can use applications (third party tools) which scan for networks & show on which channels they’re running on.
