Configure AS/400 to match email address

I use SNDDST to send mail, mail be put to garbage box. Because Mail Sender address is userid@as400HostName.DomainName. But my mail server address is userid@DomainName. How do I configure AS/400 to match actual mail address.

To configure AS/400 to match your email address, you need to first identify your email server’s TCP/IP address. Check its host table to ensure that your email server address exists. Make a note of its host name. Ping the email sender to ensure it responds. Add your system name and domain name to the server. Now you can go in to edit the UserID to ensure that the email addresses match. Be sure to check that both your short email and long email with the full domain name match within the system with the SYSNAME(TCPIP) NETUSRID(*USRID) coding. Make sure all the domains are set to auto start before you exit the command area.
