Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

hello mate
1st solution
you can simply add : as ip & the subnet mask , it wont affect anything on your network
it will allow only the domain controllers to talk to each other …

2nd solution
you can add a new site with new subnet config
this is a way to manage your sites also …

Keep in mind that the IP Subnets that you picked for your private network are actually routeable public IPs. Your users won’t be able to access sites which are hosted on those public IPs.

Nimick, in the future, please add all additional information in the Discussion area of your original question so that members can follow it. I asked a question a couple of days ago regarding Sites and Services and the subnet setup. I would just like to double check on the question and answer. I would like to thank you for the reply I have two physical locations, one location has two domain controllers with an IP range of to and a subnet of Lets call this LA The second physical location is using to and a subnet of there is one domain controller on this side. ( called Paris)There is only one domain. When setting up a site Paris I am asked to specify an IP this is where i am confused. I do not want to setup a site for the LA location at this time as it can use the default site setup. The Paris network is new and I want to leave the LA network alone, i just want to double check the LA network is not being affected. Thank you
