That looks simple enough. The shortcut reflects the path, as it should. In this case, wks1 would be the computer name, c$ is the shared C drive, then the rest is the path to that specific file. It is just like a desktop shortcut to a shared folder on a server – only in this case the workstation is hosting the share…..which happens to be under a specific user profile. This could be done on any network that shares out it’s C drives, unless the security is locked down.
