Sharp (2016) LC-50N5000U N5000U series – is it 5G capable?

Hi, can't get our smart TV to connect (or even pick up) the 5G network of our Fios. Tried standing next to the TV with a 5G capable device (iPhone 8 plus), and that device picks up the signal; so doesn't seem to be a signal issue. So... is the issue that the TV is too old/doesn't have that capability? Reading the model manual makes my eyes glaze over (and it doesn't mention 5G). Thanks for the help!

Since "5G" is a cellular phone service and there mostly aren't any phones that could be bought in 2018 (and certainly not earlier) that could handle "5G", it's extremely unlikely that any 'smart TV' could do it. I'm not sure if anyone is selling a 'smart TV' today that connects to "5G".

Note that a modem/router that connects to a "5G" network might broadcast a local Wi-Fi signal that any 'smart TV' might pick up, but that's a very different question.

If the model dose not have 5G capability, then why are you wasting your time. You have already read manuals & there is no mention of 5G capability.
