I have one NAS storage in my LAN network. It is UNIX os & it is on the Workgroup not domain.
I created for each employee his own folder on the storage to backup his critical files. I have more than 500 employees in my company.
Currentlly, I bought one server (Windows 2003 ) with LTO4 tape drive.
I want to backup all the shared folder from the NAS storage to tape drive using the windows backup tool.
I can't see my NAS storage in the Network Places.
I can backup the shared folders if I could mapped them.
Int the Start -> Run
\backupstorage ( I can see all the 500 folders )
How can I map all the folders inside \backupstorage without doing it one by one.
Is there any script for that or any freeware tool ???????????????
So, in other words, if I have a file server ( server name :- filesrv) with 100 shared folders. This server under a workgroup not a domain
I want to backup all the folders that I can see when I type in the Start -> RUN
also, I want to use map drive utility to create network drive ( \filesrv ) . Windows will allow me to map \filesrv . It will ask me to choose a folder like (\ filesrv Tom).
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease help me.
