    Hi,

Yes, you can use both; Postfix and Sendmail to send a mail in server effectively. But sometimes it shows errors so please be careful when using it.

    Thanks & Regards

If you want a full fledged mail server on Linux OS, you may use postfix, postgresql, amavis, clamav(optional), spamassassin & dovecot, These are all help to make a full functional mail server and also error less.

I'm Installing sendmail to send a mail. The log is given by:  to=<postgres@lgb.co.in>, ctladdr=<postgres@lgb.co.in> (117/126), delay=00:00:01, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=local, pri=30942, dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent. The status shows mail Sent. But the receiver can't receive the mail. What is the issue ?
