Exchange Server 2016
Hi!, I have a running Exchange Server 2016. I have added a second accepted domain and policy. I need guidance with the rest of the process. I don't know how to add email addresses for the second domain since I cannot select this anywhere. I also want to be able to send from the second domain for the second domain users. The end result should be that a recipient can receive and send from domain 1 and 2 mailboxes. Would appreciate help.

    Have you seen the second domain? If yes, then email must be selected from there. You can link here for more help: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/configure-exchange-to-accept-mail-for-multiple-authoritative-domains-exchange-2013-help

    However it is based on Exchange Server 2013, but concepts are same.

    Hi, sorry for the delayed response.
    I was able to complete the setup, thank you.
    One remaining problem;
    I can access the new domain and user mailbox with owa.
    I access owa by opening with domain\newuser and newuser PWD and it opens perfectly. I am however unable to create a mailbox in Outlook. I have tried every account, domain and password combination I could think off but Outlook keeps on asking for the password. The process pass the first 2 steps namely:
    1. Establishing network connection
    2. Searching for xyz@com settings

    It get stuck and repeatedly ask for credentials on
    Log onto server and send a test email message.
    I have check Windows Credential manager, no issue there.
    I have reset the account in AD
    Any ideas? Please help

    Outlook stores password itself when choose the Remember my credentials option. It uses the saved information. Probably this is authentication method is unable to use Windows credentials, so every users needs manually update the passwords. Please link here for Microsoft support: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/2984912/outlook-continually-prompts-for-your-password-when-you-try-to-connect

    If there is necessity to modify/add registry entry, please take backup of registry before that.
