Sending attachments

We are running 6.5.3 We are having intermitent problems when forwarding attachments. Sometimes the forward fine and other times the recipient just gets the icon and nothing happens when they try to open it. When they respond that they could not open if I save the attachment and send it in a new email it works fine. We never had this problem in 5

Known issue; fair amount of discussion on it in the Notes 6 forum on the IBM site (http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf). The best fix appears to be to have the sender exit Notes. Delete their “cache.NDK,” which will recreate when they open Notes again. Open Notes, try the forward again. It should work this time.

    Something else to consider is whether your users have quotas enabled, and are they over their quota? I don't know what versions it applies to, but it is a common problem when people are over their mailfile quota.
