Is it possible to delete (or alter) the sender's email address from an incoming email. The email would be coming from a website and we don't want to know who sent it.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Too little detail to work here… what are you using to receive your emails (server and client)? What kind of email sending mechanism is used on the website? Do you have any control overthat?

If the e-mail is being generated by a web page script, you should be able to remove any field for e-mail address and in the script parameters use a generic address for all messages to use in their header.

invisflare, we are currently in design mode, we'd like job applicants to send us voluntary information on a form about themselves without identifying themselves ... is there more than one way to do this?

So you're send emails from a Web form (by script I'd assume?). As Lance pointed out in the last post, you can control the emails in any way you want by modifying the script parameters... For example, if you are using CDO with your script, you'd set your sendusername property of your CDO.configuration object.
