The statement is only selecting syntax and not listing records. Process parameter is *RUN. It was working earlier.

it is simple select statement at command line.

    select * from filename
    Syntax check found no errors.

but STRSQL (F14) process is *RUN

Not sure why the F14 is used. If I key STRSQL at a command line I get a blank screen to key my SQL statement. I press enter and it runs.
What OS are you running and is this SQL being done from a command line or custom user menu ?

I'm just showing the parameters set on STRSQL (press F14).  The Process parameter set is *RUN and not *SYN.

I am starting STRSQL and then giving select statement.
    Select * from filename.
But it is not generating the list but simply giving message :
    Syntax check found no errors

Strange.. I can't replicate your issue. F14 is not valid anywhere for me. If I enter STRSQL at a command line or embed the SQL in an ILE program there is no F14 valid in either of those options. If I hit F4 and prompt some embedded SQL it will allow me to do an F14 but that is for a DELETE LINE. Are you using any custom screens?

F14 is a command analyzer function key that is always available for any prompted commands. It results in a display of the current command string. I usually use it to allow me to copy/paste the prompted command into documentation.

If the cursor is placed on the "Syntax check..." message and F1 is pressed to show message help, then F10 is pressed to show the joblog, are any additional relevant messages seen?

If there is no syntax errors, the processing is *run and you get no listing maybe the file is empty. Check the file and library to make sure there are still records in the file.

    after starting STRSQL
there is F13 on command line to change system attribute *RUN on statement processing.
