Microsoft Access 2013 Search Box

I created a search text box that is on a form off a navigation form. The problem I am having is that I get a box saying "Enter Parameter Value" Forms!2frmHomeOwnerMain!txtSearch. It works fine when I bring up the form by its self, but when it is in the navigation form it does not. I believe I need to specify the path of the text box, but I am not sure where to do this.

No. I went to the link. They are talking about a search box that is on a single form. I had stated that my search box works fine by itself. The problem is when it is embedded on a navigation form, I run the navigation form click on the tab to load the form, I get the error. A box saying "Enter Parameter Value" Forms!2frmHomeOwnerMain!txtSearch. If I type in a value here, it will run a query.
