Script to connect to different database connection to export data into flat file. I need combine data from different connections in system i navigator. I want to create a script to do so if it is possible. I'm new to system navigator.

    I didn't see this thread soon enough. I'll copy my comment from the other thread into here.

    It's not clear what you want to do. It's possible to export each individual table to a "flat file". It's not clear what you mean by "flat file", though, since there are at least three common meanings. Also, unless you have a license for something like DB2 Connect, you won't make concurrent connections to more than one database at a time. (At i 7.1, you can create UDTFs that allow querying multiple remote databases in a single query, so you might also code your own.)

    In short, iNavigator can help with exports; but it shouldn't directly help with multiple connections in a single query. However, you could run each export in sequence with the same target streamfile in a /QNTC directory as long as each system can reach the same remote server.
