Windows 10
On Black Friday, I bought a brand new tablet that has Windows 10 on it (it's a 2-in-1 tablet). I'm going to use it a ton at work so here's what I want to do: Have it on all day and then sleep at night. Can I schedule it to go to sleep around 11 PM and then wake up around 6 or 7 AM? Could I use Task Scheduler for this?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Yes, task scheduler would work for this. You would need to create a basic task and set it to run the program called “shutdown.exe” (located in system32). Set a time for this task to run and it will shutdown your pc. You should be able to add parameters to allow the computer to go to sleep instead of shutdown. As far as powering it on, you should be able to do that somewhere in the BIOS of your tablet.

Have you checked power options settings on Windows 10 tab, under Change plan settings for auto sleep mode? Please check and make sure that this is disable.
