Is there a way to save my excel spreadsheet to both my computer file and the evernote file without the extra save as step?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You need to save your file in the locations you would like – so if there is more than one location, there will be more than one “Save As” procedure…..unless you set up a script to instruct the program to save it for you, and where. Much simpler to go through the process of selecting “Save As’ twice.

This is a tricky question. It may be possible with a scrip like mentioned. This would be the only sure way to keep the files in sync with each other. Other wise you risk inaccurate data if you forget a "save as".

You can write a macro which can help to solve your issue. If you prevent excel asking whether to overwrite the file if it already exists, set displayalerts to false in macro.
