Hi,
I am trying to save a MAP file to a dongle but it is being saved as a MAJ file and that it will not open on my Arrow Plasma control computer via the USB. How can I save it as a MAP file?
Regards,
Paul

It is not possible to save any file in a dongle, assuming here dongle means, a data card that provides internet connection for surfing web. If you want to save any map from google map/ other web site, you have to save as bookmark which can be found on any web browser.

How are you trying to save it?
I agree with Subhendu, I do not think this is possible. If it is indeed a data card.

If it saves as a MAJ file, what happens after you rename it as MAP? Is it a valid file?

If this is an HTML image map file, what steps are you doing to save it? Like Raven said, have you tried renaming with the correct extension and see what happens. I do not know why you would want to save it to dongle. Can you explain the project needs?

Hardly, you can try to use a pdf printer like curtepdf writer (free). It installs as a printer & then it is possible to print google maps straight to the cutepdf printer, which will let you save the file as a pdf format.
