WRKLNK isn’t really appropriate for folders and documents. WRKLNK should be used by you for directories and streamfiles just to force yourself to keep the distinction in mind.
To start, there is almost certainly no “folder” named ‘QDLS’ on your system. What you probably see is the name of the /QDLS file system which contains folders within it. In this case, the “folder” would probably be TEMPFLR.
Use the WRKFLR command if you have to work in folders. Even better, never use SAVDLO to begin with. Avoid DLOs entirely. Never use commands directly related to DLOs such as CPYTOPCD.
Stay in more conventional directories in the /root file system and ignore /QDLS. There are extra steps necessary for /QDLS work, and the file system is more or less obsolete. It’s close to unfortunate that it continues to be installed by default.
Rather than SAVDLO, other commands such as SAV are more useful and apply to almost everything in any file system.
