What's the best Linux OS to run on SAP?

There’s really only 3 choices according to here:Oracle, Red Hat and SUSE.

I’ve never touched Oracle, but to ask for “the best” is subjective.  You can either try each out and see what fits your needs, look at reviews (YouTube might be your best bet), or just pick one and learn it.

    Either you go for Red Hat or Suse Linux for this purpose. Especially, Suse Linux is designed for SAP which you can get info from here: www.suse.com/products/sles-for-sap/. Of course if users are more familiar with Red Hat, u can go for it.

    Personally, I suggest a Red Hat only, as SAP can be supported by or integrated with many other business automation utilities, and finding these utilities in RPM is much more predictable than in YAST-packed form or as source codes.

    Fedora Core, as a "poor sister" of Red Hat, can be effectively used for this purpose, too. But what a point is to save a penny for Red Hat when you plan to install SAP?
