Ring for Calls, Vibrate for emails

My Blackberry Pearl is set to ring for incoming calls and makes this annoying "boinging" noise for an incoming email. I want to be able to set it to vibrate only for incoming emails and still ring for incoming calls, but each time I try, it vibrates for everything. Can anyone help?

From the profiles menu select advanced. Then select the profile you are currently using and hit the menu button and then edit. Select the messages options and change them to vibrate. This will make it vibrate for text messages and email and ring for phone calls.
