In my Excel worksheet, I currently have a fixed number of columns. All of these columns has a header name. Can I restrict different users from entering anything in those header cells? Thanks so much.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You can freeze or lock down rows and columns, but you cannot lockdown headers separately.  If the user does not need to make any changes to the document, have you considered making it a read only document?

Anyway, here is a link for locking down things in Excel.

Sounds like you want to conditionally allow some to edit and others cannot. I have not seen a way to do this. If you mailed the spreadsheet, how do you determine the user then? Can they edit it or do you still want to prevent changes?
