Remove unused Office 365 programs on Windows 10 tablet

Office 365
Windows 10
I recently bought a brand new Asus tablet with Windows 10 running on it. With that, I have Office 365 on it too but I would like to delete the programs I won't use (Access, OneNote, Publisher). Can I do that? What's the best way? Thank you

You can get the FIX IT TOOL here.
Or do it the long, tedious manual way (It does seem that MS made uninstallation a real pain in the a**)
Uninstall the main application as any other installed program:
  • Press the Windows key and in the edit box type prog.
  • Select Add or remove programs.
  • Select Office suite and select Uninstall.
  • To free up more space, you can remove the installer applications:
    • Open an elevated command prompt by pressing Windows, typing cmd, and pressing the CtrlShiftEnter simultaneously. Then type the following three commands, and keep that CMD prompt open for later use:

schtasks.exe /delete /tn “\Microsoft\Office\Office 15 Subscription Heartbeat”

schtasks.exe /delete /tn “\Microsoft\Office\Office Automatic Update”

schtasks.exe /delete /tn “\Microsoft\Office\Office Subscription Maintenance”

  • Now open Task Manager by pressing CtrlShiftEsc simultaneously and kill any of the following processes on the Details tab that are running:

    • officeclicktorun.exe
    • appvshnotify.exe
    • firstrun.exe
    • setup*.exe

    • In the elevated CMD dialog, type:

sc delete Clicktorunsvc

  • Open Windows Explorer by pressing WindowsE and delete any of the following, if present:

    • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15 folder

    • C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\ClickToRun folder

    • C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Office\FFPackageLocker file

You can try to use Fix it tool from Microsoft, which can help to do the same. Please download/install the tool and try it.

Moreover, first take all backups of your data specially Office files/folders and if you have option to reinstall the same, you can uninstall this application and again can be installed with customization option. Form here you can choose what individual application you want to install or what not.
