How do we remove this serious security breach listed on the security event log. Ran several malware programs with no results. Microsoft & network searches Subject logon ID 0x205e6. Then S-1-5-21-2771767311- continuing list continuing with more numbers. Running Windows Vista Home with Norton 360 firewall on PC plus a router firewall. I appreciate any & all help. Thank you.

Why do you need to remove the event from the log?

Yes, there is no need to remove it unless you are trying to hide an attack/breach attempt. This would also be helpful to a professional if you needed to take your system some place to be worked on.

One minor bit of clarification (since not enough info about the event was posted to have any idea what the logged event refers to): The "Logon ID" is the ID of the logon session, not of the logged on user.

A logon ID will be unique until the system is rebooted. You might use the logon ID to help tie multiple events together for a given session, regardless of what user started that session.

Note that if this type of thing is important for your site, you probably need to bring someone on staff to handle the situations. If that's unreasonable, a consultant might be brought in periodically to review configurations and make changes and recommendations. If this is a serious problem, it should not be handled through Q&A in an on-line forum. (Especially when the ones who are capable of giving the best answers are the same ones who are not performing the service at your site.)
