I'm sorry for the broad question but I just noticed that my Windows 7 backup disk is full. What should I do now? Does Windows 7 automatically delete the oldest backup files to create space? Or do I have to manually delete files? Thank you for letting me know.

To free up the disk space you can do it manually in a very simple steps. First of all go the disk drive which you want to space free >> do right click on it and click on Properties >> choose Disk Cleanup option >> and click on Ok button. This way you will delete temporary file, log files, and others unimportant files.
