Hello all! For a presentation I'm working on, I need to reduce the size of a PDF file. How can I do that? I have Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. Thanks so much.

As you told, open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat. In File menu click on Save As. Next click on Reduced Size PDF. Again click on "Make compatible with:" drop down. Now select the most recent version of Acrobat. Keep in mind, limiting compatibility to newer versions of Acrobat greatly reduces file size. Select a location in which to save the image. Click on Save.

What do you need to reduce, number of pages, file size or something else? You would need a PDF editor and the either remove images if there are any or resize them and another option is to reformat the text or select a different font.

Moreover, you can try an offline tool called, NXPower\Lite, which can help to do the same job. Also you can try online PDF reducer tools. But if you have security problem/ secret things inside the PDF, then online tools are not recommended.
