Recovering the entire System i – cannot log in

I had to restore System i from EntireSystem copy. Unfortunately after restore I can't log in. After signing on qsecofr profile system goes back to sign-on screen.

Most likely if you had to do a total system recovery from a backup, it’s probably looking for the password(s) at the time of the backup. Try another profile and see if that works.  

You could also try accessing the service tools from iNavigator

    I'm sure password is correct, I had to change password for QSECOFR in one of recovery steps. Signing on another profile ends the same.

    An incorrect password will give the error on the sign-on screen. If it seemingly signs on but then returns to sign-on screen without an error, then that looks more like the profile has INLPGM(*SIGNOFF).
    Can you check if the profile has been changed somehow?

    Maybe Green Screen signon is hindered by Initial programs and such. Can you logon to FTP?
