Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

Most likely it will be in your recycle bin. The only other thing is if you deleted this by holding the shift and selecting delete. If you answer yest to the permanently delete message then it’s gone.  There may be some recovery tools but if you have been using the computer for any length of time it may have written over that disk space.

First of all check the Recycle Bin, where the deleted files/folders reside and windows does not delete them permanently while keep in Recycle Bin else if you configured erstwhile for permanent delete.

One more thing, you can try to recover deleted folder from the previous version. First create a new folder on the desktop and name it with the same name of the deleted folder. Now select the folder, right click and navigate Properties >"Previous Versions. Now Windows searches for and list the previous versions of the deleted/lost files or folders. Choose from the list & click to Restore. Here is a good help from Microsoft: https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/17119/windows-7-recover-lost-deleted-files

Hi Rasave, are you having an issue with your Gmail? I would suggest starting a new question.

The folder that was deleted, was this a system folder or a personal folder? You may be able to recover a system folder with more luck depending on what the folder name was. What folder are you trying to recover?

Generally, if by mistake system folder/file is deleted, the system may be collapsed or not functioning properly. At least if the system boots and start your desktop, after Login it starts to show missing file message or something like that. and talking about system files/ folders only. If that happens, you can run setup disk or repair disk of same OS and it can help to restore the file(s)/folder(s) again and the system runs properly after that.
