Does Real Jukebox Plus 2 not work on Win 10 or am I doing something wrong. Just switched from XP to Win 10. When trying to load music CD to RealJukebox, msg says load CD, will not read CD that is loaded. Music transferred from XP will not play. Says to load security key. Will not recognize security key backup.

Depending on your needs and the audio files format, you can use Windows media player. You can create play lists of your favorite songs. You can create lists like party hits,  Mood music,   Open up the directory where your music is, right click a file or hold control and select multiple files and select “add to Windows Media Player play list” This will start the player. Right click in the player window and select SHOW LIST.  This will show your songs. When the list is displayed, you can click and hold a song to drag it into the order position you want. When your happy, click the save list and give it a name.

Forgot to add this. In the player tools at the bottom bar, left hand side, you have options to play the list in shuffle mode or repeat the song

It's possible that it won't play. That software is old, real old, it came out back in the Win 95 days. When you say you switched you OS from XP to Win 10, was it just an OS upgrade or did you get a new machine? Is this new machine a 64-bit system? As for the security key, were you prompted to enter it again if this is a new machine?

I bought a new computer and used a cord system to transfer files from old to new.. Have reinstalled Jukebox but still did not work. Shows all the cd's as installed but will not play. I don't really like win10, haven't found way around yet but would think is 64-bit. My XP lost sound and CD function so felt I had to change.
Can you recommend a program that works like Jukebox? I have a remote speaker that I can listen to my computer music on patio.

Why are not you trying on Windows 7?

I have a laptop with win7 and Jukebox does work on that. I would think win7 will soon be going away same as XP. New Dell came with win 10 so to replace with 7 seems to be going backwards. I prefer desktop to laptop. As suggested by other, I have started using Win Media Player, am having to reload all CD's.

@LEBrown: You should not have to reload all the CD song files unless they are in an obscure format. What file extension do they currently have?

If Windows Media Player is OK, then try on that. It is better to use Microsoft product other than third party external tool while using Windows, if available.

You can also try VLC media player. It plays more file formats and still lets you create play lists.

Keep in mind, sometimes uninstall/ reinstall of same software might work.
