Reading USB hard drive in Windows 7

I recently formatted my USB hard drive to EXT3 so I can use it with my Linksys NAS box. But for some reason, I can't read by hard drive when it's unplugged from the NAS / put it into my Windows 7 computer. What should I do here? Thanks!

If I remember correctly, and I just checked, ext3 is Linux partition.  So if you want to read it on a Windows system, go to the link below:

    Windows doesn't read EXT3 file systems.

    You can run Google searches for EXT3 utilities for Windows and try different ones until you find one that you like and that will work for you.
