Quality Assurance in the organization chart

I understand there is not a "one size fits all" for this question but I am curious as how other companies have their Quality Assurance Manager reporting structure set up. Is it to the Operations Manager who oversees all contact center managers or is it for the Director of the center. Or another hierarchy perhaps?

This is not possible to say for general view. Different companies have various rules/ have their own policy. Generally, this depends on Operational manager(s) who is/ are liable to set up all these things. But also heard that, for several companies, Director(s) is/are also intervene for the same.

There is no real right or wrong way. It comes down to how the job descriptions are laid out for those responsible. Personally I like the Operations Manager to be responsible. You should not have bad product going out the door and the first door it gets out of is controlled by operations.
