My son took some photos for me. He photoshopped them and put them on a CD. What do I need to do to open them on my PC? I don't have the Photoshop.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It may depend on what file format he saved the images. If they cannot be viewed by navigating to the CD folder containing the images and clicking on them you may need a program or app. A good free program that can open most image formats and allow you to edit them as well is GIMP.  Irfanview i also another good free option for viewing  images and capturing images from your screen.

It seems that,. when your son worked in Photoshop, and at the time of saving file(s) in .psd format, while the Photoshop's default extension is .psd. Not necessary to download any 3rd party tool, rather you ask your son to again open the file(s) in Photoshop and select save as option from file menu and save them as .jpg/jpeg or .gf or .png extension. Now you can open them easily just a double click(assuming your system is Windows).
