How to protect Brother printer with password

Around my office, we share the same Wi-Fi connection and a Brother printer. But I'm the one who uses it the most. Yesterday, I noticed someone (not sure who) printer over a hundred pages and it kept me from printing for a long time. Would it be possible to put a password on the printer so I'm the only one who can use it?

A simpler solution is take the printer off the network if you want to be the only one to use it.

You can still protect printer while connecting on network. There is a simple and free tool from Brother support called BrAdmin Llight and using this tool, you can do that you wanted. Please link here for download/install: http://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=mfcj470dw_us_eu_as

Or you can download PrintLock for the same purpose. But this is not free.
