Problem downloading and uploading media files

I have a BB 9720 on contract with FULL BIS and all was fine until 1 year into the contract when I began experiencing a download/upload problem of media files. I have been to the repair center on numerous occasions (minimum 5 times) and they even changed my phone with a refurbished phone, did software upgrade, etc. but to no avail. Out of desperation, I even did a SIM swap and purchased a new memory card. On every occasion after picking up my phone from the repair shop, the same problem repeated itself after a couple of days. So for the past 3-4 months I decided to monitor the problem and what I have noticed now is that the download/upload is fine in the beginning of the month and progressively deteriorates to extremely bad after like 15th of the month. Will it be possible for you to explain why this is so because its like "throttling" as the month progresses in spite of having FULL BIS.

    What kind of problems that you dd not mention like connection slow/ network traffic problem or whatever is! Probably your internet package cause the problem. As you mentioned, after 15th it has the problem as you mentioned, assuming download/ upload is slow or during download connection might has problems.
    However, if possible, you can try and insert the same sim card into another BB mobile and observe if this will happen again.

    Hi, tanx for your prompt response.  had the same problem when inserted in another BB device.  Have FULL BIS and therefore was not expecting internet package problems. Also contract is for 2 years and problem started after one year into contract.  And why ok at beginning of each month

    Probably this issue creates due to browser cache (just guessing) After every 15th you can clear cache and try again. See here for procedure to clear: http://support.blackberry.com/kb/articleDetail?ArticleNumber=000003865
    after do this, shutdown the BB & remove the battery for a while, then reinsert the battery to reboot. Now try again the same. If you are not comfortable, you can take help from any nearby authorized service center. Meanwhile, if you have wifi connection, you can try the same with. For your kind information, download depends on nature of contents also, like music/ video/ games/ wallpapers/ other things.
